When you use BookContainerHouse, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, and design preferences.

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (hashed).
• Design data: 3D customization preferences, saved designs, and configuration choices.
• Dealer information: business details, location, contact information, and verification documents.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and interaction with the 3D customizer.
• Communication data: messages sent to dealers, support inquiries, and feedback.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve our services, process your design requests, communicate with you about your account, and send relevant notifications.

3. Data Protection

We use application-level access controls, password hashing, HTTPS deployment where configured, and automated tests. Hosting encryption and external security reviews must be confirmed by the operator.

• Storage and transport: The application uses PostgreSQL and production HTTPS deployment. The exact database-at-rest encryption and negotiated TLS settings depend on the configured hosting and reverse-proxy infrastructure and are not represented here as a specific algorithm or version.
• Password security: Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with appropriate salt rounds; we never store plain-text passwords.
• Access control: Database-backed role and dealer membership checks restrict administrative and tenant data access.
• Security work: The project includes automated tests and code-level security controls. Independent penetration testing and external certification have not been completed as part of this application.
• Data minimization: We only collect and retain information necessary to provide our services.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data in the following limited circumstances:

• With Dealers: When you request a quote or contact a dealer, we share your design details and contact information with that specific dealer.
• Service Providers: The current code can use Resend for email and DeepSeek only when an operator supplies the corresponding key. The application currently has no confirmed Alibaba OSS integration and does not load a third-party analytics or marketing SDK by default.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and platform.

5. Cookies & Tracking

BookContainerHouse uses essential cookies for authentication, session management, and security. Optional analytics and marketing categories are disabled until consent is recorded; no such third-party SDK is currently loaded by default. Our 3D customizer uses local storage to save design progress.

6. Data Retention

We retain account information and saved designs while needed to operate the account. You can request an export or account anonymization from account settings. Anonymization requires re-authentication and a cooling period; orders, payment records, and security/audit records may be retained where legally or operationally necessary. There is currently no automatic 24-month anonymization job.

7. International Data Transfers

BookContainerHouse is intended for global use. Data may be processed in jurisdictions selected by the operator and its enabled service providers. The operator must confirm the applicable hosting locations and any legally required international-transfer mechanism before production launch; this page does not claim that Standard Contractual Clauses are currently in place.

8. Children's Privacy

BookContainerHouse is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the platform or legal requirements. Where appropriate, material changes will be communicated through the platform or account contact details; no fixed 30-day notice period is promised here.
